Family Tree ("the app") is a personal tool for visualising and managing family tree data stored in a Google Sheet.
The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to its own servers. All family tree data is read directly from a Google Sheet you provide and is processed entirely in your browser.
If you choose to enable editing, the app uses Google OAuth to obtain an access token. This token is used solely to read and write your Google Sheet via the Google Sheets API. We do not store your Google account credentials or access token beyond your current browser session.
The app accesses only the specific Google Sheet you configure. It does not access any other files or data in your Google account.
The app stores your Sheet ID, Apps Script URL, and Google Client ID in your browser's local storage so you don't have to re-enter them. This data never leaves your device.
The app uses Google APIs (Sheets API and Google Identity Services). Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for information on how Google handles data.
